Vitiligo Treatment

It is also witnessed among the patients of vitiligo that they go for getting their skin bleached totally like in the case of the King of Pop late Michael Jackson. These patients prefer getting the skin bleached than trying the regimentation of the skin.

Another method is to going for the skin dyes to cover up the vitiligo spots. A dermatologist told that one of his patients went to have the good results with Dyoderm. The active ingredient in Dyoderm is dihydroxyacetone (DHA) and it is called the most common ingredient widely found in sunless tanners.

About DHA, it makes the interactions with the dead cells on the surface of the skin which then leads to a brown color. The process does not affect the pigment producing cells or the treatment of vitiligo. The brown color on the skin then lasts for some days only prior to getting faded away.
